The Instamatic X-25 is of the US-made models in Kodak's series of Instamatic models for drop-in 126 cartridges. The large knob on the top tensions a spring-wind mechanism, allowing rapid shooting. As with other Instamatics designated "X," the top socket is designed to work with Magicube flash cubes, which ignite mechanically rather than requiring battery power.
