Kodak introduced this telescoping-lens-tube variant in the Bantam series in 1938. As with all of Kodak's "Bantam" line, it utilized 828 film, yielding images 28×40 mm. The back clasp identifies the model as Kodak Bantam F.8 after the f/8 aperture of the "Kodalinear" 40mm lens.
