Kikōdō

Kiko-Do (暿光堂, Kikô-dô) was a distributor. In 1934, it asked Umemoto Kinzaburô (梅本金三郎) to setup a camera plant. That would be Umemoto Seisakusho, founded in 1935. It sold the cameras made by Umemoto at least until the war. Among them were a Makinette 6 (マキネット6) 6x6 folding camera in 1936, and the Super Flex Baby from 1938.

After the war, there was a company called Bikô-Dô Seisakusho (美光堂製作所) or Super Photo (スーパー写真), that made a series of 6x6 TLRs called Superflex, but it is probably unrelated.
