A camera like the Ricohflex VII image by Uwe Kulick (Image rights) |
The Halina A1 was a TLR made in Hong Kong by Haking, based on the same body as the more basic Halina Prefect, and appears to be a copy of the Ricohflex Model VI. This slightly higher-spec camera (i.e. higher spec than other Haking models, not higher spec than the Ricohflex on which it was based) had gear-coupled focusing of the viewing and taking lenses, the latter an f/ 3.5 Halina Anastigmat.
A version branded Star-Lite has been noted[1]—confusingly, as that name was also used on a variant of the simpler Halina Viceroy.
