Gossen Bix 3 hand held meter is also known as Scout 3. The simple selenium meter's match-needle instrument is coupled with an analog exposure setting calculator.

Usage is simple. Set the ASA/DIN speed, and rotate the dial until both needles line up, read the lower half portion of the dial for the correct shutter and aperture combinations. The top half of the dial contains a EV speed window. It is powered by SR44 batteries and Made in Japan.
