Fuji presented the HD-M (Heavy Duty Motor) in 1984. It is a 35mm film camera that is water-resistant to a depth of 2 metres.

- Lens: Fujinon 38mm, f/2.8 (Tessar type, 4 elements/3 groups).
- Exposure: Automatic; EV 6 to 17 (ISO 100).
- Shutter: 1/8 to 1/500.
- Film speed: 100 to 1600 ISO in half stops.
- Focus: Scale focus with zone projections in the viewfinder, 1 m to infinity.
- Film transport: Auto advance and rewind with mid roll rewind.
- Flash: Integrated flash, GN12.
