The HS-1 and HS-2 are 35mm SLRs that recycle Exakta branding on cameras imported from Japan and actually manufactured by the prolific Cosina. As with other Exakta "HS" models, these do not use any historical Exakta lens mount, but rather the common K mount. The HS-1 and HS-2 rebadge the Cosina CT1G and Cosina CT1 Super respectively, and like that pair, they are described in the same owner's manual. The HS-1 is limited to a top shutter speed of 1/1000 (versus 1/2000 on the HS-2) and lacks that model's self-timer function.
