The Exa IIa is a 35 mm SLR camera made by Ihagee in 1963-4. It is a upgrade of the Exa II and it featured a fixed pentaprism with a split-image in the center of the viewfindr. The film advance was also shortened in the IIa. As in the [[Exa II}, the shutter is a vertical-travel cloth Focal Plane shutter, with speeds from 1/250-1/2 and B. A shutter lock button can be used to keep the shutter open for long exposures in lieu of a cable. The mirror is not instant return, and only goes down when the shutter is cocked.
