A Japanese Leica I clone made by Elega-sha (エレガ社) in 1951-1954? and distributed by Nittō Shashin Yōhin K.K. (日東写真用品㈱). In 1954 it sold for ¥9,800.[1] It was fitted with a fixed Eleger Anastigmat f/3.5 45mm.The known body serial numbers range from four-digit numbers (1372 etc) to five-digit numbers 121xx to 136xx.[2]
