The 1994 Canon model called the Prima Super 28V in most parts of the world took its name from its widish 28–70 mm zoom lens. This autofocus point & shoot also sold as the Autoboy Luna within Japan (when closed, the lens barrier looks somewhat like a ¾ moon). The wide lens option helped make the most of the optional 13×36 mm "panoramic" image crop available in the Japanese version. Film transport is motorized, and the camera requires one 3-volt lithium CR123 battery to operate.

This model was not sold in the Americas.
