The PowerShot A460 is a compact digital camera which was introduced by Canon in September 2007. It replaced the previous PowerShot A430 in the line up.
It features a 5 megapixel CCD sensor giving images of up to 2,592 x 1,944 pixels. It is fitted with a 5.4 - 21.6mm (38-152mm 35mm equivalent) f/2.8-5.8 (4x) zoom lens. Focusing is from 47cm-inf, while the macro mode from 5-47cm, and super macro mode from 1-5cm. The back has a 86,000 dots 2" TFT color LCD display used for a digital viewfinder, but a optical zooming finder is also available. Storage is via SDHC or MultiMediaCard flash memory cards. Power comes from two AA batteries.
