The PowerShot A400 is a digital camera announced in 2004 by Canon.
It features a 3.2 megapixel 1/3.2" CCD sensor. This produces a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536. The lens has a 35mm equivalent focal length of 45 – 100 mm. The closest focus distance is 47cm, but in macro mode can be as close as 5cm. The shutter speed is from 1 to 1/1500. The camera back features a 115,000 pixel 1.5" LCD screen and still has a optical viewfinder. Data is stored in Secure Digital card. Various colours are available including silver, gold, blue and green. Power is with two AA batteries.
