The IXUS 160 is a ultra compact digital camera announced in 2015 by Canon. In North America it is known as the PowerShot ELPH 160, and in Japan as IXY 150.

It features a 20 megapixel 1/2.3" CCD sensor. This produces a maximum resolution of 5152 x 3864 . The lens has a 35mm equivalent focal length of 28 – 224 mm making it a 8x zoom. Aperture range of f/3.2 - f/6.9. The closest focus distance is 5cm in normal mode and 1cm in macro mode. The shutter speed is from 15 to 1/1500. The camera back features a 230,000 pixel 2.7" LCD screen. Pictures are stored in JPEG format and video uses H264 video codec in a MP4 container. Data is stored in Secure Digital card. Connectivity options include High Speed USB 2 for computer transfers. It uses a rechargeable NB-11L lithium-ion rechargeable battery.
