Bertram is a German manufacturer of photographic products. The company was started in 1919 by Ludwig Leiner and Ernst Bertram making camera shutter in their workshop. When Ludwig Leiner left, Paul Will took over and started working on exposure meters. In 1940's Earnest's brother Wilhelm Bertram joins the company.

Bertram is mostly know for their light meters. In Ernst Rumpoldin came to the company from Linhof and decided to make a press camera called Bertram Kamera.
