Distributor American Camera & Photo Supply of Chicago, USA, filed for a trademark on the brand Prinz (enclosed in a crown logo) in 1964; and then as Amcam, filed for trademarks on Rexatar and Rexagon specifically for use on camera lenses.[1]

The Prinz logo simplified over time; and as of 2023 is perhaps only used on photo frames, albums, etc.
