The "Alpha" Camera Deluxe was first introduced in 1909 as sophisticated variant of Watson's Alpha Camera which was already made since 1892. It was a quarter plate folding bed camera. The camera was made of mahogany and metal fittings, and its body was covered with black leather. The camera had a Watson Helostigmat lens and a Koilos shutter. It was made and refined until the 1930s.
