The 10 d is an Alpa 35mm SLR introduced in 1968, with the pentaprism housing now integrated into the body, rather than the separate black crinkle-finish housing of the Alpa 9d.

The shutter speed dial is now non-rotating, with equidistant speed markings. A second exposure meter needle is visible on the top deck, as well as through the viewfinder. Aperture stopdown still uses Alpa's traditional PAD external coupling arm and there is no open-aperture metering.

While this model was still in production the followup Alpa 11 series was launched, offering over- and underexposure lights in the viewfinder rather than the 10d's analog needle display.
