Schmitz & Thienemann was a camera maker in Germany in the 1920s and 30s. The company is known for SLR cameras for small plates:
- Uniflex for 4.5x6cm plates
- Ideal Reflex for 6.5x9cm plates[1]
- Patent Sport Reflex also for 6.5x9cm plates (perhaps later)[2]
The cameras somewhat resemble larger wooden SLR cameras like the Soho Reflex, but have lenses with front-element focusing, and in-lens shutters, not focal-plane ones.
