Ami (4.5×6 folder)
The Ami (アミー) is a Japanese 4.5×6 folder, copy of the Ikonta with a folding optical finder and a body release.
It is advertised in 1941[1] and 1942[2] by Tōkyō Shashin Shōkai[3] (東京寫眞商會 in old writing, i.e. "Tokyo photography trading") for ¥115, together with the Sintax (a Baldax copy) as a more expensive alternative. It is offered with an Ami 75mm f:3.5 lens and an Ami shutter with 1–200 speeds.
There is an Amiflex 6×6 TLR dating from the early 1950s; it is unknown if the two cameras are related.
