The Sony Alpha DSLR-A580 was proudly presented as new DSLR model by Sony at the Photokina 2010. According to the opinion of fair visitors this is the perfect new middle class DSLR model of the Alpha series. It offers all controls necessary for ambitious amateur photography. It has a 16 Megapixel "EXMOR" (enhanced dynamics) image sensor with a high light sensitivity range. Thus the camera set the benchmark for all other 16 megapixel Sony Alpha system cameras.
The camera is able to shoot 50 fps HD videos.
