Taika Doryt is NOT a name of a Japanese manufacturer, rather Taika must be a trade name. The actual maker of the Taika Doryt lens 135mm/3.5 in Exakta mount is unknown. The brass barrel lens is heavy build of a German-like Zebra design and is a preset diaphragm lens design. Of interest is the 15 blade aperture design. Photos online observed through this lens show exceptional sharpness and outstanding Bokeh. I would consider this to be a very rare lens to find anywhere these days. Possible manufacturing date would be very late 1950's~ early 1960's.
