Contax S2

Hello, in this diff of yours you removed a sentence from the article about the Contax S2. I guess that you did this because the sentence was wrong, could you please confirm this? yes you're correct. sorry i'm new to this and still learning the page's etiquette. the contax s2 was not built by cosina as some say. i know for a fact that it's based on the mock-up of the contax 139Q and built by kyocera with the same viewfinder as that camera. the shutter came from the nikon fm2-t. some say that the s2 was built by cosina because it looks like an oly om-10. but that's completely wrong. i own an oly om-10, contax s2b, a contax 139Q and even a bessaflex built by cosina. i know what i'm talking about... that camera was never built by cosina. -- Added by Rein Stark, 16 March 2007

Thanks for the clarification here and on the article's talk page. What you're saying is very interesting and many points would have their place in the article itself: for ex. the mention of the shutter coming from the Nikon FM2T, the chassis and viewfinder based on the 139Q, the Kyocera Japan marking, etc. If you have time, I'm leaving this to you because you are obviously better placed to add info about this camera. --Rebollo fr 15:51, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
