What exactly is this user talk?

Welcome Dhoulihan

Well made, your first article here. "User talk" is one of the main opinion exchange platforms in the wiki, if you want to address a wiki author who writes about a certain camera category and you want to give some comments on his writing which are not concerning only one article. Otherwise you would have to write your comments into the discussion page about the article. Other discussion platforms like Camera-wiki.org:Community_discussions aren't used so much yet

And welcome from me too. That's an interesting article on a camera of which I'd never heard. Just one point though: in this edit, whose content still stands, you write of "I". In Camerapedia articles (unlike Wikipedia articles), it's OK to be personal; but "I" is still a bit meaningless. Could you either impersonalize it ("it is hard to load") or specify the "I" ("Camerapedia editor Dhoulihan reports that it is hard to load"). For the latter, see Super Flex Baby: effectively, it's Rebollo_fr's article (and a lot of the photos are specifically of Rebollo_fr's own example of the "Baby"); he reports on his communication with Mr Umemoto.
But keep telling us more! -- Hoary 22:19, 18 January 2008 (EST)
Thanks for all the encouragement! I bought the Skylark seen in the article at a vintage store, and had to have it! I'm going to try to post some of my first photos with it on my Flickr page soon. -- Diana (Dhoulihan) 10:35, 19 January 2008 (CST)
