Tiger Electronics Star Wars Episode 1 Picture Plus Image
The Star Wars Episode 1 Picture Plus Image Camera is a 35mm toy camera released in 1999 by Tiger Electronics. It's based on the seventh movie in the Star Wars franchise, Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (20th Century Fox, 1999.)
It has a built-in flash and is designed exclusively for ISO 400 film.
The camera is designed to look like Electrobinoculars from the film, but neither the lens or viewfinder feature any corresponding night vision or magnification ability.
The camera's claim to fame is a further refinement of the Pokemon Camera's in-camera superimposing feature. Instead of the static frame, the Picture Plus Image allows the user to choose between several images of the film's characters to superimpose on their photos. There's also a none option, which allows the user to take standard images. To select a different character, the user needs to rotate a cogwheel on the top of the camera.
