I have merged all the pages about the Auto-Reflex/Autoreflex series into this one and transformed them into redirects to this page. Here is a list of the pages concerned in case someone needs to check the history.

Some work is yet to be done. We need to find a good title for the page, addressing the hyphen issue. Some possible names are:

  1. "Konica Auto-Reflex and Autoreflex"
  2. "Konica Auto-Reflex/Autoreflex"
  3. "Konica Autoreflex series"
  4. "Konica Autoreflex" with no hyphen

Once this is done, we'll have to eliminate the many double redirects created by these moves.

Maybe we can also suppress all the links pointing to a subpage of buhla.de as this site is easy to navigate.

I arbitrarily chose Konica Autoreflex as a title and corrected the double redirects. Anyone can move the page again if he thinks another title would be better suited. Just don't forget to correct the numerous redirects. --Rebollo fr 12:04, 16 June 2006 (EDT)

Autoreflex T4 & TC

It may be helpful to readers if these two cameras are merged, as they are the same cameras with only feature differences. My original understanding from reading was that the T4 has the brightest viewfinder of the Konicas, so I bought one, but I just learned on the Konica SLR list on Yahoo that the TC has the same view finder, making them the same camera to me.

The TC is simply a stripped-down T4, or perhaps the reverse is true, a T4 is a stripped-up TC. Besides the obvious differences, the T4 has a more "sophisticated" light meter that the TC albeit one more prone to breakage. Mine is a bit dodgy.

By comparison, the T3 and NT3 have the same name but are fundamentally different from the shooting perspective.

Actually, the differences between the TC and the T4 are far greater than those between the T3 and thew T3N. The TC and T4 only look similar from the outside, but they entirely different cameras. The T4 has DOF preview, multi-exposure, shutter speeds from 1s to 1000, wider ASA sttings, and can be used with an auxiliary winder. It also has an entirely different light measurement system. This is a serious tool, in contrast to the TC, which is a (serious?) entry level SLR. The basic differences between the T3 and T3N are the looks of the self timer lever, the eyepiece shutter, and the hot shoe, none of which makes them significantly different cameras. -- Added by Nafacinok on Jan. 14, 2009.
