The Porst Reflex C-TL (without suffix) is one of a series of SLRs made by Cosina for German retailer Porst and is based on the Hi-Lite HDL. However there are a few styling changes to the top panel controls—e.g. the film-reminder ring around the rewind crank is interrupted.

This model was of a very standard camera type of the era, accepting popular 42mm screw lenses and offering stop down TTL exposure metering activated with a switch alongside the lens mount. The shutter speed range is a very mainstream 1 to 1/1000 second but with flash sync at a respectable 1/125 second. Aside from a hot shoe and mechanical self timer, this is a no-frills camera.
