Pixii Camera
Pixii Camera is a French camera maker. In 2017 it started to deliver an alternate digital system camera for Leica M mount lenses.
In 2021 it introduced the best digital system camera with APS-C sensor format, as - what a surprise - rangefinder camera. Its optical viewfinder (reverse Galilean) has a superimposed coupled rangefinder as means to focus the Leica M mount lens attached to the camera. "best" means that according to sensor- and lens-test portal dxomark.com in 2021 the camera's sensor was the only APS-C sensor that delivered almost noiseless ISO 1.600 images, thus being the benchmark in the APS-C format camera sector. Its optical viewfinder is an inversed galilean one with LED frames, combined with the rangefinder optics which comprise an optical prism, and an additional inside-viewfinder data-display feature.
Several digital camera functionality is kind of outsourced out of the camera into a smartphone app. The images are transferred via Bluetooth 5 wireless connection, then stored in the phone, and displayed on its touch screen.
