Minolta Riva Zoom 70

The Riva Zoom 70 is a 35mm autofocus compact camera from Minolta. A similar body version is also known as the Sightseer Zoom.

It features a 35 to 70mm zoom lens at f/5.3 to f/9.8. At the 35mm range the minimum focus distance is 1.3m while at the 70mm it is 1.7m. The three position power switch is on the base of the lens. The positions are ON, OFF and Closed which acts as a lens cover. It supports shutter speeds of 1/15, 1/40, 1/70 and 1/200. The electronic flash has red eye reduction and a range of 1.3 to 3m with ISO 100 film and 1.3 to 6m with ISO 400 film. The flash can be disable. There is a electronic self-timer with a delay of 10 seconds. DX encoded films can be used in speeds of 100, 200 and 400 ISO. The film automatically rewinds after the end of the roll. Mid-roll rewind is also possible. Non-coded film is set at 100 ISO. It is powered by a single CR123A battery located on the right hand grip area. The power lasts approx 15 rolls. The base has a tripod mount.
