This page is about an early Leica digital camera, not related to the Leica S series of DSLR cameras of about 2008.
The S1 Pro is the first digital camera made by Leica, in 1998.[1] It is a scanning camera, making an image 5140 pixels square (approx. 26 MP - a large image in 1998) with a CCD sensor.
