The Grover is a monorail view camera made by Burke & James in the 1950s and '60s. It was made in 4x5, 5x7 and 8x10 inch sizes. The 4x5-inch camera is all-metal in construction, and has a rotating back, with a small folding metal hood. The 5x7 and 8x10-inch cameras have a wooden reversible spring back, with a folding hood on the 5x7.[1][2] The rail is hexagonal in section, with a toothed rack along the top, and allows 21-inch bellows extension in the 4x5 and 5x7-inch cameras, and 29 inches in the largest camera. It has a tilting mount incorporated into the tripod mount, so that a stand without a tilt head can be used.
