Graflex Series C

The Graflex Series C was an SLR produced by Folmer & Schwing from 1926–1935. It used 3¼x4¼ plates or film, in a cut film magazine, slotted film holder, or roll film holder. It has a revolving back to allow easy change of image orientation. It has a top shutter speed of 1/1000 sec. The Graflex Series C was designed around using the Cooke f/2.5 lens, one of the fastest lenses available in that time, particularly for sheet format cameras, being three times faster than f/4.5 lenses that were the norm. Because of the lens choice, it was only offered in the 3¼x4¼ format, unlike most Graflex cameras. Due to it's expense when it was built, and the less common format, these cameras are particularly uncommon.
