Fujifilm FinePix 40i

The FinePix 40i is part of a line of Fujifilm digital cameras release in 2000. A newer FinePix 50i was released in 2001.
It uses a 2.4 megapixel 1/1.7" SuperCCD imaging sensor. This produces images of 2400x1800 pixels. The lens is a Super EBC Fujinon f/2.8 8.3mm which is equivalent to a 36mm lens on 35. The back has a 1.8 inch 110,000 pixel color LCD screen. The camera can also double as a MP3 music player. The wired remote control has a LCD display for music functions as well as a shutter release. Stereo earbuds are also included. For removable storage it uses 3.3V SmartMedia and a 16MB card is usually included. Power is with two AA batteries but NiMH rechargeable are typically included.
