The Frica is a camera for 10x14mm exposures[1] (presumably on 16mm film, in cassettes[2]), made in Spain in about 1945. 'Frica' is apparently the name of the camera model; its maker is not known. The camera body is roughly semi-circular, moulded from a Bakelite-like resin plastic. Examples at auction have been seen with a red body (coloured in the resin, not painted) with an unpainted aluminium film-advance knob,[1] and with a black body with a yellow advance knob.[3] Either version has a folding frame finder in thin chrome-plated metal. If the side with the finder is the top, the advance knob and shutter controls are on the bottom. The shutter is a simple 'I'-and-'B' one ('P' for Pose). There is no focusing control.
