Atmel
Atmel Corporation was a semiconductor factory based in San Jose, California (USA), with offices in several countries. Among many other products it made central processing units for digital cameras. The company was bought by Microchip Technology Inc. of Chandler, Arizona, in 2016.[1] As of 2020, Microchip makes components usable in a wide range of electronics applications, including some for cameras; power controllers, controllers for touch-screen displays, LED flash units, etc.
