AgfaPhoto Photo Camera 35mm

Lupus Imaging & Media in Germany distribute several simple 35mm film cameras using the AgfaPhoto brand. Some of these are single-use disposables, so their non-disposable cameras are sometimes named (for example) AgfaPhoto Analog 35mm Reusable Film Camera (our italics); this is the name used by B&H in New York; FotoImpex in Germany sell the camera as AGFAPHOTO Analoge 35mm camera. The rather awkward name for this page was taken from Lupus's brochure for film and cameras.[1]
From its specifications, it seems very likely that the camera is a version of the Vibe 501F camera made in China, but with its own styling, achieved by a different front body shell. It looks quite similar to both the Kodak M35 and the Ilford Sprite II, which may also be restyled versions of the Vibe 501F. The camera has silver-painted top, bottom and sides, and the 'top housing' area of the front. There is leatherette, which is black, red, brown, beige ('bleached sand') or green ('desert sage') on the remainder of the front.
The lens is a 31mm f/9 meniscus.[2] It is fixed-focus (and labelled with the annoying term 'focus free' on the lens surround). The camera has a single shutter speed of 1/120 second. There is a built-in flash, which may be switched on or off with a slider switch below the flash on the front of the body. There is no other exposure control.
As with the Kodak M35, film advance is with a knurled thumb-wheel at top right on the rear, and rewind is by a folding crank, also on the top. The rewind-release button is on the bottom (labelled with a symbol that might suggest electric rewind; it is manual).
It has a loop on the right side for a strap, and one is supplied with the camera, as is a pouch case.
