Introduced in the market in 1985, the MF-3 was the first model of Yashica produced only in Brazil, to the incredible mark of 1.2 million units produced in the country.

It has versions in the colors yellow and red.

The MF-3 is a viewfinder camera for 35mm film, with a fixed-focus 38mm f3.5lens, focussed from 1.5m-infinity. It has automatic exposure, controlled by a CdS meter cell inside the filter thread. Power for the meter and flash comes from two AA batteries.
