Description
The YUS (Yashica US) 135mm f/2.8 is one of three Contax/Yashica mount lenses distributed by Yashica and sold only in the North American market. The YUS lenses were normally sold as part of a kit, such as the FX-2 kit, along with a camera. The YUS lenses were single-coated but are generally considered to have better quality glass and/or better coatings than the similar Yashica DSB single-coated lenses (though not as good as the multi-coated ML and MC lenses). YUS lenses are still popular in the used market primarily because they tend to be very inexpensive and are easily mounted on modern Canon DSLRs using a C/Y to EOS mount adapter.
