The Williamson Kinematograph Company was a UK company established by James Williamson in 1898, and continued by his son Colin. Williamson senior was Scottish, but set up his company at Hove on the English south coast. The company later had a manufacturing plant (as the Williamson Manufacturing Company) in Willesden, north London. Colin Williamson held a number of patents, for photographic shutters, aerial cameras, cinematographic and enlarging equipment and more general engineering designs.[1]

Notes

  1. British Patents held by Colin Williamson, at Espacenet.
