Hello!

Please don't be offended: I've taken a bit of a liberty with your addition to Semi Pearl.

Your argument is interesting. I understand you're saying that the CPO or EP marking only means the camera (or whatever item) was exempt export taxes, not that it was necessarily sold at a PX. That sounds plausible (a source backing it up would be great!), but I don't think the argument belongs on the Semi Pearl page. We have an article on Post Exchange where the CPO and EP markings are discussed. What I'd suggest is that the statement on Semi Pearl could be reworded from means that the camera was intended for sale at an American military Post Exchange facility to means that the camera could be exported from Japan without payment of normal export taxes. Plainly, the statement that either marking dates a camera to after 1945 still stands. I think any more discussion of the markings should be moved to the Post Exchange page.

Your text is still available in the Semi Pearl page if you want to use any of it, but I've 'commented it out'; that is, I put <!-- text --> markings around it, so it's still there in the editing page, but doesn't show when the article is displayed.

I would also make a point about style. Rather than append a note saying a statement in the article is incorrect, it would be better to edit the offending text itself. The whole thing should read as one article.
