Template:120 folding Japan The Tsubasa Super Semi was a 4.5x6 folding camera made by the Japanese company Optochrome. It was a horizontal style folding body. It had a folding optical finder.

It is pictured here at the Center of the History of Japanese Industrial Technology, with a Lucomar Anastigmat 75/4.5 lens and a shutter plate marked TSUBASA SHUTTER at the top, with a logo between the two words, and NEW ??? at the bottom, probably NEW GOLD. On this picture, the body release is at the left, and the knobs are quite high.

It appeared in a 1938 ad (appeared in 9/1938 issue of Asahi Camera, visible at this page). It was announced with a Tsubasa T-B-25-50-100-150 shutter, with body release. There was a choice of two f/4.5 lenses (names barely readable):

  • Lucomar (probably), for 45 yen
  • Royal (maybe, reads ローヤー), for 50 yen

The case was sold for 6 yen. The body release was at the right on the picture, and the knobs were lower than on the previous camera.
