The Traveler is a fully automatic compact camera for APS film cartridges. It was marketed in the late 1990s by the German supermarket chain Aldi, one of several Traveler models. It has a built-in electronic flash and conventional infrared autofocus for automatically focusing its 24-48mm zoom lens. The reverse Galilean zoom finder shows the image preview in the actually preselected APS image frame format. A green LED beside the ocular indicates accurate focus- and exposure-setting, storable by half-pressing the shutter release button. The camera has a date function, and several programs for exposures with and without flash: fully automatic, anti-red-eye mode, flash-off, night portrait program, series of three with or without flash, and landscape. The camera needs a CR2 battery.
