The Taron 35 is a 35mm rangefinder camera made in Japan by Nippon Kōsokki from 1955 to 1957. It is distinguished from later Taron models by the smaller viewfinder windows without illumination for bright framelines. The original '35' is also notable as featuring the company's own NKS - MX shutter where already by the Taron 35 III they were sourcing shutters from Copal instead.

  • Lens: Tomioka Lausar 4.5cm/f2.8
  • Shutter: Nippon Kōsokki NKS-MX leaf shutter with speeds B, 1sec to 1/300s

It was also sold by Dutch distributor Fodor as the Fodor 35.
