Dead Links

The item cannot be found on that page and a search using the Die Zeit newspaper search engine does not reveal any (online) reference to Staeble.
The German Wikipedia entry on the Staeble-Werk has the same reference (I wonder whether Uwe lifted the reference from there without verification?)--Heritagefutures (talk) 01:47, 9 December 2012 (PST)

Tri-Color

I still need to VERIFY the following description before I can add it it. The Breker description of the orientation of the plates just reads wrong, my own take shown below:

The Tricolor-Camera uses a color system, whereby the camera is equipped with a yellow-green colored transparent mirror set at a 45deg. angle. The blue and green light fractions are bend and are exposing a "Bi-Pack" plate or film, are located on the top side of the camera. The red fraction is transmitted through the mirror and is exposed at the back of the camera. The "Bi-Pack" plate or film is a combination of two plates (or films) put together with the emulsion sides having a different color sensitivity, (orthochromatic and panchromatic).

Also, Breker mentions a patent, but I can't find it when searching in the German Patent register...--Heritagefutures (talk) 09:30, 10 December 2012 (PST)

Patents

I have searched the German system Depatisnet, USPTO as well as Espacenet. As many older German patents have not been databased, let alone digitised, it is very likely that many, if not the vast bulk of Staeble patents have not yet been listed in the entry.--Heritagefutures (talk) 14:12, 10 December 2012 (PST)

It seems that all German Patents since 1877 are included in German system Depatisnet. I can only find one patent by Staeble in that system. This runs counter to company publications and advertisements that claim patents. All help would be appreciated...--Heritagefutures (talk) 05:40, 14 December 2012 (PST)
