Ruvinal Mod. IV

If there were 32,000 units of that camera produced it would be much more common. I suspect that the lens serial numbers are not a good indicator or the frequency with which they were built.--Heritagefutures (talk) 19:24, 20 May 2013 (PDT)

It would be great to find some proofs on intermediate serial numbers mounted on other cameras, that would disclose the mistery... All we know now is that there were roughly 32k Pentagor lenses made between the oldest and the newest cameras found so far. Also, don't you think that the Ruvinal R and the Mod IV are the same camera? Maybe projected with one name and later finally released with another one. Is there any picture of a Ruvinal R? - Jnoir (talk) 02:11, 22 May 2013 (PDT)
I haven't seen any pics of Ruvinal R, but there may be in magazines...will make some enquiries. And yes, more work needs doing on the Pentagor to see which other cameras may have used them...Can you please add in the serial numbers of the three Pentagor lenses in the reference that says "Three examples have been documented'? I think the more we can reference, the better. Dirk--Heritagefutures (talk) 16:36, 22 May 2013 (PDT)

Could it be that the first serial number from the list below is a typo? I see a completed listing from May 2013 (itm 281102630692) with serial number 38248, looks like too many coincidences to me, before adding it I prefer to confirm. Jnoir (talk) 09:41, 24 May 2013 (PDT)
