: It would be great to find some proofs on intermediate serial numbers mounted on other cameras, that would disclose the mistery... All we know now is that there were roughly 32k Pentagor lenses made between the oldest and the newest cameras found so far. Also, don't you think that the Ruvinal R and the Mod IV are the same camera? Maybe projected with one name and later finally released with another one. It would be great to find some proofs on intermediate serial numbers mounted on other cameras, that would disclose the mistery... All we know now is that there were roughly 32k Pentagor lenses made between the oldest and the newest cameras found so far. Also, don't you think that the Ruvinal R and the Mod IV are the same camera? Maybe projected with one name and later finally released with another one.
