Taika Doryt is NOT a name of a Japanese manufacturer, rather it must be a trade name. The actual maker of the Taika Doryt lens 135mm/2.8 in exakta mount is unknown. The brass barrel lens is heavy build of a German like Zebra design and is a preset Diaphram lens design. Of interest is the 15 blade aperture design. Photos online observed through this lens show exceptional sharpness and outstanding BOKEH. I would consider this to be a very Rare lens to find anywhere these days. Possible manufacturing date would be very late 1950's~ early 1960's. here is a link to the observed lens : http://www.ebay.com/itm/282419969549?ul_noapp=true
