The Colorette Super is a line of rangefinder made by Braun from abt. 1956 to 1959. Several variants have been marketed, with fixed or interchangeable lense, with or without lightmeter. The naming of the models is similar to the Paxette :

  • Colorette Super II : rangefinder and interchangeable lense
  • Colorette Super II B : rangefinder, interchangeable lense and uncoupled lightmeter
  • Colorette Super II BL : rangefinder, interchangeable lense, uncoupled lightmeter and frame finder
  • Colorette Super I B : rangefinder, fixed lense and uncoupled lightmeter
  • Colorette Super I BL : rangefinder, fixed lense, uncoupled lightmeter and frame finder

All interchangeable-lense models have a Synchro Compur shutter and a Deckel bayonet mount. The mount is exactly the same as the Voigtländer Vitessa one, so all lenses can be mounted on it.
All fixed-lense models have a Compur Rapid shutter.

The Colorette has been sold in the USA by Wittnauer under the name "Professional" and by Sears & Roebuck under the name "Tower Colorette".
