The Cyber-shot DSC-H2 is a digital camera announced in 2006 by Sony.
It replaced the Sony DSC-H1 released a year earlier. The designs of the camera are often thought to be the successors to the Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z series cameras. It features a 6 megapixel 1/2.5” CCD sensor, producing a maximum image resolution of 2816 x 2112 pixels. It has a Carl Zeiss 12x zoom lens at an 35mm equivalent of 36 – 432 mm. An LCD based electronic viewfinder can be used as well as a 2" LCD screen. This camera also has a basic video capability capable of capturing 640 x 480 at 16/30 fps. It uses Memory Stick DUO / Memory Stick DUO Pro as the storage media, with 32MB of built-in memory. It uses Hi-Speed USB2 for connectivity. It is powered by 2x AA batteries. AA NiMh rechargeable batteries and charger are included in most markets.
