Sony Alpha NEX-3

The NEX-3 was Sony's first mirrorless camera body, introduced together with the NEX-5. These were also the first models to use the new Sony E-mount. The polycarbonate body shell could be ordered in various trending colors, like pink, red, blue, brown or orange besides the normal choices of black and grey.

Due to the extremely short distance between lens and sensor plane it is virtually possible to adapt just about any lens that exists without using correction elements, it's all a matter of the right adapter to connect the lens to the NEX body. By now many adapters are available.

The absolutely superb focus-peak system shows sharp focused areas highlighted, which makes it a joy to use old manual lenses again. The color and intensity of the peaking highlights are adjustable to personal liking.
