The Silar is a high-specification folding-bed view camera, sold by Porst and Meyer, but made by Perka Präzisions-Camerawerk between about 1922 and 1930, and subsequently made by Linhof when Perka closed.[1] The camera is identical to Perka's own Perka cameras, or later to any of several Linhof cameras. It has a triple-extension bellows, rotating back, drop bed, and front rise, shift and tilt (20º each of the front board and of the drop bed).[2]
